Experience  David has over 15 years experience in investment banking and principal investing and currently serves as Founder and Managing Director of Scale Finance LLC—a firm that provides professional CFO and Controller services.  Scale Finance is affiliated with Dragonfly Capital for M&A and Corporate Finance transactions. Prior to founding Scale Finance, David worked as a Managing Director at Hyde Park Capital, an investment bank focused on high growth businesses in the middle market. Prior to Hyde Park, David was a Partner at venture capital and private equity group, Wakefield Group, where he focused on principal investments in technology, healthcare, and other high growth businesses primarily in the Southeast. David has also worked as the CEO of Meta Security, VP of Acquisitions at CRH/Oldecastle, and as a Manager at McKinsey & Company. David continues to hold numerous Board of Director seats at prior portfolio companies and/or clients. He was also an Executive Officer in the US Army in Europe (Airborne and Ranger).

Personal  David is married with four children and is an active member in his community. David is a Commissioner on the Cornelius Town Council as well as a member of the Lake Norman Economic Development Corporation Board and UNC Charlotte's Commercialization Committee.
